Why we made After
After started with a simple belief: the way you feel at home matters. We are a family run company in Atlanta, GA, and we wanted one house sock we would reach for every single evening. Not a novelty slipper and not an ordinary sock, but something thick, soft and easy to care for.
What we chose, and why
We chose 100% Superfine Wool because it keeps feet warm without the itch of ordinary wool, moves moisture away from the skin and resists odor between washes. We made the knit an extra thick waffle, with roughly three times the cushion of a normal sock, and kept the toe seamless. We added silicone grip dots so stairs, wood and tile feel steady. And we made them machine washable, because a sock you have to hand wash is a sock you stop wearing.

Every order helps us donate a blanket, given by hand across the East Coast. Every pair is designed and packed by our family in Atlanta, and we answer email, texts and FaceTime calls ourselves.
Sizing and fit
Sizes run small, medium and large. Small fits US women 5 to 6.5 and men 3.5 to 5. Medium fits women 7 to 9.5 and men 5.5 to 8. Large fits women 10 to 13 and men 8.5 to 11.5. If you are between sizes, size up for a roomier, cozier fit. Every color comes in all three sizes, so you can pick the color first and the size second. Not sure?
